Parking Policy

Please note the following Association Rules and Regulations regarding parking.

    • This is Private Property. Parking is only for Ponds Edge Association Townhouse Unit owners only.

    • NO PARKING is permitted on the complex main streets. The streets must stay clear in case there is a need for emergency vehicles.

    • Vehicles repeatedly parked on Complex Streets will be TOWED at owner’s expense. For towed vehicles, please contact Campus Towing. (319-545-4340 )

    • Vehicles repeatedly parked on Complex Streets will be TOWED at owner’s expense.

    • Park all vehicles in your driveway or in the overflow parking spaces​.

    • Overflow parking spaces are available for short-term use by residents and residents’ guests​.

    • Parking spaces are not for storage of inoperable vehicles. Vehicles parked and not moved for more than 2 weeks will be TOWED at owner’s expense.

PARKING SPACES - COMMON ELEMENTS: The main streets within Pond's Edge Condominiums Owners Association complex are part of the Common Elements. All overflow parking spaces are part of the Condominium.

PARKING SPACES - PARKING OF VEHICLES: Parking spaces are available to unit owners, their families, tenants and guests on a "first come - first served" basis. Vehicles may not be parked in such a manner as to prevent ready access to any parking spaces of the complex.

PARKING SPACES - PLAYING IN: No adult or child shall use, nor shall any adult permit a child for whom he or she is responsible to use the Condominium parking lot as a playground or as a site for any sport game or play whether alone or with others.

PARKING SPACES - POSTED REGULATIONS: Users of Condominium parking lots shall obey the parking regulations posted by the Board of Directors.

PARKING SPACES - REPAIR TO VEHICLES: Repair of vehicles is not allowed except in areas that may be designated for that purpose by the Board of Directors. On Common Element parking lots, emergency maintenance, light maintenance and normal cleaning are allowed. Oil changes and other fluid changes are not permitted since they soil the Common Elements.

PARKING SPACES - VEHICLE WASHING: Cars may be washed in any space on the Common Element parking lots as long as the rights and convenience of other parking lot users are not infringed upon.

PARKING SPACES - VEHICLES ALLOWED: No person shall bring or keep within the Condominium any boat, truck having more than four wheels, recreational vehicle (other than four-wheeled van), mobile home or trailer, or vehicle too large to fit in one parking space (including limousines), without the prior permission of the Board of Directors. Junk vehicles, inoperable vehicles or vehicles without current registration plates, licenses or inspection stickers are not allowed on the Common Elements. No person shall bring or keep within the Condominium any vehicle not equipped with the proper muffler in good working order, or which causes an unreasonable amount of noise for any other reason. Moving vans and other trucks used to move household items in and out of units are allowed for reasonable periods of time. Vehicles in disrepair, including those with flat tires, on blocks, broken windows, rags in lieu of gas caps are prohibited from parking in the Pond’s Edge complex. All owners of such vehicles will receive a warning notice on their vehicle windshield 5 days prior to being towed at the owner’s expense.

Vehicles that are in violation of the following restrictions will be towed at the vehicle owner's expense.

(1) Any vehicles that are abandoned.

(2) Any vehicles blocking fire zone.

(3) Any vehicles parked illegally.

(4) Any vehicles parked on the complex main streets.

If you receive a parking violation notice, please contact the Association to confirm your vehicle or it will be towed.
