Satellite Dish Policy

This notice is to confirm the policy that the Pond’s Edge Condominium Owner’s Association Board of Directors approves the installation of one TV satellite dish per unit.

This approval is contingent on the following conditions being met:

• The dish can be no larger than 18 inches in diameter, in accordance with Exhibit C, Paragraph 2, of the Association by-laws.

• The dish must be mounted in an area extending out from the unit it serves; it cannot be located in the area extending from another unit.

• The dish can not be located in an area that interferes with the lawn care vendor or any other vendors that perform services on the Association grounds.

Additionally, the following placement guidelines should be followed whenever possible:

• Preferred dish installation location:

  • Mounted to a pole in the front, back, or along the side of the unit it serves

  • Mounted to the deck of the unit it serves

• The following dish installation locations are discouraged:

  • Mounted directly to the building

  • Mounted on the roof (Board approval needed and see disclaimer below)

The cost to repair any damage to Pond’s Edge Condominium Association property caused as a result of the installation of the TV satellite dish will be the responsibility of the owner of the unit the dish serves.
